Bolinao Solar Enterprises Inc. ("Bolinao Solar," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Concordia, Bolinao, Pangasinan, Philippines, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through bolinao.solar, our quoting platform, and our business lines including J&G Printing Works (including its Facebook Messenger channel), why we collect it, and the rights you have under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as when you request a quote, contact us, or place an order:

  • Name, mobile number, email address, and installation or delivery address
  • Property details relevant to sizing a system (roof type, monthly electricity bill, utility provider, whether the site is on-grid or off-grid)
  • Order and payment details when you purchase equipment through our store, Shopee, or Lazada channels (payment processing itself is handled by those platforms or our payment provider, not stored by us in full)
  • Photos of your site or roof, if you share them for a survey or quote
  • Communications you send us via phone, SMS, Messenger (see Section 2 below for how our Messenger and AI assistant handle this), or email

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our website (such as pages viewed and general device or browser information) to keep the site working correctly and secure.

2. Facebook Messenger and AI-Assisted Support

Our J&G Printing business line offers customer support through Facebook Messenger, including an automated assistant ("Dhondy AI") that can answer routine questions, check the status of an existing job order, and help start a new one, alongside messages answered directly by our staff.

When you message our J&G Printing Facebook Page, we collect:

  • Your Facebook name and a unique identifier for your Messenger conversation (not your Facebook password or any other Facebook account data)
  • The content of the messages you send us
  • If you choose to verify your identity to look up an existing job order (for example, by providing a job order number, customer code, mobile number, or email), the matching order details needed to answer your question

To generate automated replies, your messages are processed by a third-party artificial intelligence service provider engaged by us, strictly to answer your question or carry out the specific request you made — such as checking an order's status or starting a new job order request. We may change which provider we use, and we choose providers that do not use your messages to train their models; your messages are not shared with them for any other purpose. This processing may take place on servers outside the Philippines. You may ask us at any time which provider is currently in use. Our staff can view the full conversation at any time and may respond directly instead of, or in addition to, the automated assistant.

We do not disclose another customer's order details to you, and we apply identity verification steps before sharing any specific order information over Messenger.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To prepare and send you an accurate solar system quote or sizing estimate
  • To schedule site surveys, installations, deliveries, and after-sales service
  • To process orders for solar panels, inverters, batteries, and related equipment purchased in-store or online
  • To respond to inquiries, warranty claims, and service requests, including job order requests and status updates sent through Facebook Messenger
  • To send service updates directly related to your installation or order — we do not send marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them
  • To comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations as a registered business in the Philippines

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on your consent, the necessity of processing to fulfill a contract with you (such as an installation, purchase, or job order agreement), and our legitimate business interests in operating and improving our services, each consistent with Section 12 of the Data Privacy Act.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary:

  • With equipment manufacturers or distributors, solely to process warranty registrations or claims on your behalf
  • With our installation crew and subcontractors, solely to carry out a site survey or installation you have requested
  • With Shopee, Lazada, or our payment processor, when you order through those channels — their own privacy policies govern data you provide directly to them
  • With our third-party artificial intelligence service provider, solely to generate automated responses to messages you send our J&G Printing Facebook Page, as described in Section 2 above
  • With government agencies, when required by law, court order, or a valid regulatory request

6. Data Retention

We keep customer and installation records for as long as reasonably necessary to support warranties (which can run 5 to 25 years depending on the equipment), respond to service needs, and meet our bookkeeping and tax obligations under Philippine law, after which we securely dispose of the data. Facebook Messenger conversation history is retained to provide continuity of support and to allow staff review of automated responses, and can be deleted upon request as described in Section 8 (Your Rights) below.

7. Data Security

We apply reasonable organizational and technical safeguards to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, proportionate to the nature of the data we hold.

8. Your Rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access your personal data, to object to processing, to request correction or erasure, to data portability, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. 9. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults entering into installation, purchase, or job order agreements. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
